When I was in U.S. I found hard to attend the mass even on Sundays (unlike in the Philippines where I can do even daily masses), because of the transportation. I do not know how to drive. So, when there were other sect who will try to speak with me about faith, about bible, about Christ, I welcomed and entertained them. I said, “okay… anyway, you are spreading the words of God and it’s not bad, in fact, everybody should do it that way – PROCLAIM THE WORDS OF GOD, SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS, SHARE THE HOLY BILE!”

A non-Catholic housemate invited me to listen with their “beliefs”. I entertained the invitation. At first they were just two young men, follow-up day they were four, next visit 5 with their head elder, I guess. They questioned, they shared, they convinced… They sent me emails and that was the time I frankly let them know:

. . . “I’m glad that you are spreading God’s words…By the way, I found a real treasure that has been handed from my ancestors that I am so blessed and so grateful to them that they share it to me and that is to be a Roman Catholic. My faith simply grows with God's mercy and love. No one can take it away me…. We can be friends though…”

Right after, they never came back again and they stopped convincing. I should not be feeling guilt, coz I told them, we can be friends though…

Then, another friend of mine brought me in their “faith”, religion. I attended out of curiosity. So, I witnessed their way of worshipping or praying.

I have friends with different beliefs or faith or religion. They were UCCP, Seventh Day Adventist, Aglipayans (IFI-Iglesia, Filipina Independiente), Iglesia ni Cristo, Jehovah’s Witness, Anak Angkan. (To all of you friends I thank God for sending all of you to my journey in life. You then help me though to see the beauty of life, you let me see the beauty of Roman Catholic, you even inspire me to live and die with my faith. Because through all that I witnessing, experiencing, and I talking to you, still I could gratefully say, “I AM SO MUCH BLESSED TO BE A ROMAN CATHOLIC!”

I must be GRATEFULL and with great GRATITUDE to my ancestors that I was born and raised as Roman Catholic.

Religion cannot be debated. When we start to talk all about these, it has no end. It’s like all things will pass, but God’s words remain forever. It is the most important, most crucial and the most interesting topic though. Ignorance of the Bible is ignorance of Christ. Imagine ALL LIVES are covered inside the bible. Your life, his/her life, my life… our lives can be found in the holy Bible. Who can fully comprehend then all the mysterious words in the Bible?

Which is why there are many who asked, who noticed that when there are debates or talks with religion, if there is no Roman Catholic representatives appearance, RC believers will just simply most of the times prefer to just keep their mouth closed. God speaks in silence!

We just have one reference and that’s the Holy Bible! Granted that some may not be in a perfectly the same contents, BUT ALL I GUESS WILL AGREE THAT THERE IS JUST ONE MESSAGE AND THAT IS LOVE! Each and every one has her/his own intellect and has its own interpretations for we are given free will. So expect thousands of answers as well…

If we have to ask the gift of Humility, the gift of Wisdom; if we believe that there is a Holy Spirit, then surely we will receive the gift of Obedience, thus to obey the Vicar of Christ, the Pope, who has been given authority by Jesus Christ himself.

Personally, I found interesting for those who were Catholic and turned to another “faith”. Why? Because it could be they were looking, studying & craving answers to all their confusions & questions. But I would be greatly sad if after reading this, they will not return in the true Jesus’ chosen church! It is truly where you belong!

Return to me with all your heart and you will be my witnesses at the end of the earth!

God Himself speaks to us in the Holy Scriptures. We must read the Scriptures with humility and simplicity, with faith and submission. In reading the Sacred Scriptures we must be dominated by the desire to illuminate our minds and to inflame our hearts. We must never let curiosity dominate. Therefore, it is HE, Jesus who appointed St. Peter, the first Catholic Pope. Catholic has one Holy Being to follow, the Vicar of Christ, the Holy Father. The Bishops, the clergy and all the Catholic faithful will have to follow the Holy Father for it was written, so let it be done!

Who simply understand without so much effort in studying the Bible.(But of course, studying the Bible is the best thing to do. I am just saying “there are chosen ones who have grace of Wisdom to understand the Bible and these ones cannot receive this grace if he/she does not surrender his/her life to God. He/ She must be a person of prayer.)

One friend I heard him saying: “ To be Roman Catholic is the easiest way.”

I would say, “Yes” he is right! He was saying this because to be --- one must undergo in a certain process.

God is not a complicated God! All He needs is TRUE REPENTANCE and LOVE! HE is just the simplest One that is always waiting for your coming back! So why He should require someone to undergo such process where in fact HE IS THE GOD WHO KNOWS ALL THINGS! Just a sincere, contrite heart of repentance and YOU WILL BE AMAZINGLY EMBRACED BY A WARM LOVING ARMS! This will possibly happen if one acquires the gifts of Humility, the greatest of all virtuous. Humility begins and the emotions will follow!
