DRAWING STRENGTHS AND COURAGE, CONQUERING FEARS:
Religious men and women said and I do believe COMPLETE FAITH IN GOD AND LOVE OF FELLOWMEN can defeat fears. These two are the common magic powerful keys that saints and heroes bravely accepted death, even death on a cross; willing to embrace sacrifices just to save someone’s life. Ready to give up everything they had, because of faith, trust and love of the Lord. If you love God, there is no way to hesitate to help the needs of others, whatever it may be it might be your time, your talent or your treasure. Serving others is a sign that God’s word is within you. It is the fruit of your faith and love of God. This of course has many ways/ steps to get there and this is not as easy as it might sound. It may take a very long process.
First and foremost NEVER STOP PRAYING every moment of the day. Share your doubts, bothering or fears only to those wise trusted friends. Humility is the most important of all virtues so that you will consider and accept the help of others then PRAISE is one of the most powerful weapons against the enemy. Praise God for what was, what is happening to you.
Before reading religious materials, asked the Holy Spirit to work in you in a powerful way. Sometimes, in our mere human thinking, we might be puzzled and confused of what is written. Therefore reading the bible must be guided by the Holy Spirit.
DAILY ROUTINE TO CAST OUT FEARS:
Say your morning prayer:
Oh, Jesus through the Immaculate heart of Mary, I offer you all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your divine heart. . Heavenly Father, I thank You for keeping me safe through the night which has past and for giving me another day in which to serve You. Though has created me, redeem me through Your Son Jesus Christ and call me to Your eternal kingdom. Therefore, I want to belong to You wholly today for the rest of my life and through eternity. May the holy will be done in me. Give me light that I may know what I ought to do for thee during this day. Protect me from all evil. Lead me to Your Son Jesus Christ all for Thy glory, all for love of thee.
Say: 1 Apostle’s Creed, 1Our Father, 1 Hail Mary, 1 Glory Be….
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus -Have mercy on me
Lord Jesus Christ – Save me
Most precious Blood of Jesus – Have mercy on us

(This is my strengthening line for the day….. So that whatever happens, good or bad I offer and surrender it already to God.)
My first out from home for the day: I will go to the altar. Say a little prayer for protection or just:
“ IN JESUS NAME, IN JESUS NAME, IN JESUS NAME – CAST AWAY ALL THE EVIL SPIRIT AND CURSES FROM ME. LORD JESUS IN YOUR NAME, NO EVIL CAN CONQUER ME, NO EVIL CAN HARM ME…. IN YOU, I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. PRAISE YOU JESUS!”
I took the holy water for the sign of the cross.
At the end of the day. Say the evening prayer or just even say : OH GOD OUR FATHER, I THANK YOU FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS AND GRACES YOU HAVE GIVEN ME TODAY. I ASK FORGIVENESS OF MY SINS, FOR THE THINGS I OFFENDED YOU, FOR THE THINGS I SHOULD SUPPOSED TO DO, BUT I FAILED TO AND FOR THE THINGS I HAVE DONE WHICH DISPLEASED YOU. PRAISE YOU JESUS!

These are the things I did during my spiritual crisis and thanks and praise God, it worked for me! Life is a constant change, life is a journey, life is a pilgrim, I do not know yet the days to come, what God wants me to be and to do, but for sure, everything has a good purpose and HE wants the best to each and everyone of us.
The questions that you are asking might be the exact questions that I asked when I was in spiritual crisis. My faith was shaken and I felt guilt and fears increased especially when I went out the convent for the formation to be a nun. I can’t sleep that I was sick of insomnia. I thought I cannot survive those days.
INITIAL KEYS TO ATTAIN FAITH:
Humility.
Acceptance of whatever happened in your life.
Read the Life of the Saints Books.
Read the Gospel
LET GO AND LET GOD
When you are confused and do not understand – LET GO AND LET GOD
When sad and bad memories flashes – LET GO AND LET GOD
When fears occur – LET GO AND LET GOD
TOTAL SURRENDER
Say the Apostle’s Creed. (Believe that our God is a living God. HE loves us, whoever we are.
( In my case I was holding a rosary beads while reciting the rosary over and
over while in bed.)
PASSAGES WHICH HELP ME TO “LET-GO AND LET-GOD” :
"I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" - John 11: 25 - 26
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:24-26).
Don't try to understand things that are too hard for you, or investigate matters that are beyond your power to know. Concentrate on the law, which has been given to you. God’s love for us is outrageous beyond comprehension.
